The Gentle Landing and Easing Out  process of This Popeye G Cleanse is the exact same as the  Prep PArty, PRE FEEDING, but in reverse. This is also another reason I choose to do some Real Food Pre Feeding  as it prepares me like it will you for the Easing Out Gratefully Practice.... You Will be Tempted to Fast-Track This Process, but DON’T.

Why is the Easing – Out  Graterfully so IMPORTANT?

Consider this step as ESSENTIAL. You can become nauseated if you start to eat too soon. Please don’t underestimate the importance of this process. On the other hand, don’t be scared of it either. You do risk some serious constipation or some of the worse Complications of The Master Cleanse – but if you eat something too soon, you will likely be okay in the long run. If you are unsure at any time – consult a doctor. My words here are opinion only, and should always be considered informational not medical advice, even though my backround is clinical nutrition.

Here is a quote from Tom Woloshyn’s book The Complete Master Cleanse On the Easing – out :  ” The important transition period of moving from  liquids to food will prepare your digestive system for more and more complex foods so that it does not become overwhelmed. Just as you wouldn’t try running a marathon after being a couch potato for three years, you wouldn’t brake a cleanse by launching into full-feasting mode. You want your digestive system to get well-deserved brake so that your body can start back on the right track. ”

The most important factor to keep in mind during this stage of  your transition is to drink a lot of water. Especially when you are Fruit Juicing and Vegetable Juicing. If you do not make broth, and opt for juices instead, it is important you understand that the juice will have a great deal of fiber, and you need to make sure you have enough water in your system to keep you from becoming constipated. There are a lots of recipes available for this.

Ease-Out Day 3–  REAL LIVE FOOD, Chew, your meals completely,

Why Should You Choose to do a Prep Party & Pre Feed?

Day 3 Start Your G Cleanse!

Whether you begin immediately or do the Pre Feeding/Prep Party, the process of your G Cleansing Practice is the same. You will however, need to make two decisions to suit your personal preferences and/or your daily work and family routines. It is crucial to have access to a Andy Gump... aka a toilet! You will flush out and poo out quite a few toxins, Stoli OJ's, old late night Denny's # 6's, all the crap you ate during the holidays, perhaps even... well I won't go there!  So make sure you have access!

If you do feel at all constipated, it happens rarely as the spinach has fiber but if you do, here is what I suggest. Drink a cup of of Smooth Move in the evenings more on this later.

3. Get a G Rock: A Gratitude rock can be a powerful reminder to practice gratitude. When we practice gratitude, we bring a focus to the present and our lives become enriched as we center our attention on all of our many blessings. It sounds so easy, but to maintain an attitude of gratitude through your chosen cleanse is often more challenging. The basic idea of a G rock or gratitude stone, is simple. You carry it with you, typically in your pocket or purse. Whenever you touch it, you give thanks for something right at that moment. (I actually use a permanent marker and write a word or two on mine) No matter whether you are stuck in  traffic, sitting at your desk at work or school, or anywhere else you might be – simply give thanks for something good in your life.

4. Inspiration: When I lose motivation, I just read the different ways to say thank you that I have included, or a blog about good habits or motivation. It inspires me and reinvigorates me. For some reason, reading helps motivate and focus you on whatever you’re reading about. So read about how to be grateful every day, if you can, especially when you’re not feeling motivated.

5. Regeneration: Do at least one or two Regeneration/Staying Young activities each day.

6. End of Day Practice: Enter your thoughts, words or deeds in your gratitude journal. Then, visualize your next day of successful cleansing, feel it, see it, embrace the change and the healing your practice of cleansing is bringing you. Close with a prayer of thanks in what ever way you feel comfortable..
Here is what else helped me allot...

Examine your motivation each day. Know your reasons for cleansing. Give them some thought … and write them down each day (personal cleansing vision board) if you have loved ones, and you are doing it for them, that is more powerful than just doing it for selfinterest. Doing it for you is good too, but you should do it for something that you REALLY,
REALLY want to happen, for really good reasons.

Really, really want it. This is essentially the same as the above tip, but I want to emphasize it: it’s not enough to think it would be cool to achieve a 3-10 day cleanse. This has to be something you’re passionate about, something you’re super excited about, something you want deeply. Make sure that your goal of cleansing meets these criteria, or you won’t stick with it for long. Remember the benefits of finishing will be transformational; you will feel clear, clean and very alive!
Step 1

Your Daily G Practice Upon Rising & Retiring
(To Be Done Each Day When You Get up and Go to Bed)

1.Take A Visual Vitamin: Take two -5 minutes to visualize your day of
cleansing and gratitude success happening. Seeing is believing. Believing is the beginning of achieving. It’s easier to do what you can see. Visualizing success helps eliminate the fear of the unknown. Remember, when drinking, just drink. When eating soup, just eat. Be fully present. Don’t read a book or surf the net or drive or work or anything else but drink.

2. T & G: Each morning savor a cup of your chosen  Yogi detox tea, list
at least five things or more in a journal or on a piece of paper, or on Facebook that you’re grateful for.
My Nearly Famous “Super Food Ecstasy” Green Smoothie
(this is the Green Smoothie that I make at a show)

Put Ingredients into the Vita-Mix in the following order:

2 Cups of Organic Green or red Grapes  
1 Inch Slice of Whole Pineapple (skin removed)
1/4 Organic Apple
1 Banana
1 Orange with Pith on it ( the white part )
1 big hand full of Spinach and some Kale
1 THIN slice of Lime (skin as well) or Lemon
cup  of Ice to chill your smoothie (sweeten if you need to) use the Ultimate Sweetner

2 min blend on on High Use Your Tamper Blend Until Creamy Smooth and Sloshy at the top, it will take some time if its to warm just add ice, if you want it sweeter add some dates or the ultimate sweetner 

This will make 2-3 LARGE servings or 4-5 smaller (juice glass size) servings. Blend according to the instructions in my Fruit Juice section (until the icy slushy mixture turns into a smooth liquid). This is a “ advanced  beginner”  Immune System Builder Green Smoothie. As you get used to the taste of the greens, you can increase the proportion of greens to fruit, try out some of the “stronger tasting greens”

Advanced Recpie:
For Those of You Who Want to
Take it a Bit Deeper 

1/2 tsp bee pollen
1 tsp chia seeds
12  organic pecan halves

Blend into fine meal


1,Cabbage Red or White about the size of an Organge wedge
2  Organic celery heart stalks or 1 complete stalk w/greens
6 sprigs of cilantro**
4 opened capsules of chlorella**
6 Mint leaves
Enough organic apple juice to show at 1/2 full

Blend until a smooth green juice, about 90 seconds

Here is the Rest of Your Day/s For You (SEE SCHEDULE BELOW)

Other than your Green Smoothie at meal times you will be drinking 12-16 ounces of Pure Water mxed with the ORAC GREENS product, you can ad a pinch fresh Lemon Juice,  and if needed you may want to sweeten your Super water  with a few drops of the ultimate sweetener, if you feel you need it.   About 8 glasses a day should do it..

Close out your day with your evening T & G see the above, and if you have not had a bowel movement use the smooth move tea to help you out instead of the Yogi Detox Tea Smooth Move Chocolate Organic Tea

How Much (Spinach, Pear, Mint Mojito) should you drink during the day?

You will drink between 3 -4  SPMM  each day plus 8-12  glasses of water  (some people drink as much as 16 glasses per day). The more you can drink, the better. I try to drink at least 8 glasses each day. This will depend on how big or small you currently are (caloric needs), your tolerance to physical and psychological urges to eat, and your desire to to lose weight.

How Much Tea Will I Drink?

Well since tea is part of the water intake in the G Cleanse  and itcalls for 2 cups per day. Adding a 3rd cup if you feel you want one in the mid  morning or in the afternoon is okay. Just make sure it is Detox tea or Fasting tea from Yogi brands.

Use Purified Water to Make Your G Cleanse Liquid Feasts

I carry a 1-liter atainless ateel botte, or sometimes I have my BPA-free water bottle filled with Pure Water with me at all times.   You can drink as much water as you want an mix in the ORAC Greens in small amounts as needed

Most of us are chronically dehydrated. And most of us eat when we are thirsty. Our bodies don’t understand the difference between the cravings for water and food very well. The two signals – hunger and thirst are often mis-understood. I drink as much as I can, but like anything, one shouldn’t overdo it. Every time I feel a hunger craving, I take a nice big chug of water. I believe I am turning off the switch in my physiology that is telling me that I am hungry. If I feel very hungry, or weak, I drink a glass of  Water and Greens

What kind of water should I use during the cleanse?

The quality of your water during any G Cleanse is the key to great results.You probably know that your body uses water to flush and transport toxins to the organs of elimination (The colon, bladder, lungs, skin and so on…) to discharge them. Latest scientific research shows that many health problems can be significantly improved, or completely eliminated, with just an adequate consumption of good water. is pure and appropriate for the Cleanse:

  • You can use a Water Ionizer
  • Install good Water Filter for your tap water
  • Or check your local health-food store for Purified Bottled Water

What about distilled water Ingo?

Stanley Burroughs – The Master Cleanse founder, did not recommend using distilled water. He called it was “cooked” - completely stripped of natural minerals found in water.It is also slightly acidic.

What to Expect After Drinking Smooth Move Tea, and Only if You Need It.. this may happen even it you don't

Your eliminations ( taking out the trash so to say ) will be MOSTLY liquid from now on.. You will only notice smaller material and clumps of thicker waste. Don’t expect large solid movements of any kind. You should be encouraged that even on day 3  or 5,7- 10 you will still have dark liquid in your first movements of the day. All the dark matter is retained waste that the cleanse is loosening and removing.

Drink the tea at night and in the mornings only if you are not having a bowel evacuation  After drinking the tea.. Try to wait...!  Once you feel you can no longer hold out, go to the bathroom. A word of warning while you wait for this moment. DO NOT BECOME A FOGHORN AND BLOW!!! You will most certainly not pass a very foul windstorm. – if you know what I mean. This is also true throughout the rest of your day. Don’t be fooled or you will be leaving work to change your  diapers!. The first movement will be rather large and fairly powerful. You will want to  flush almost immediately. In order to understand the whole messy details, take a look… if you dare. Stay close to a toilet and continue to move until the frequency eases. That stuff has been IN THERE a LONG time, and those TOXINS need to be removed, wouldn't you agree?

JUST repeat what you've read for every day of your intended G Cleanse practice duration. Most G Cleansers won’t recommend less than 2 - 3 days. 5 - 7 days is a great achievement and will produce far better results as your body can really begin to focus on the deep and dark within.  And if you did a 10 Dayer.. well you will just have to go out and buy yourself  a new ( insert your reward here ) because you'll be feeling so dam good that you deserve a treat!

How Long Should I do the Cleanse For?

Tom Woloshyn claims the longest he has heard of is 372 days straight with the second longest being 256. Some people do “Cleanse Stacks” where they will do 10 days followed by some regular eating and quickly going back on for another 10 days as many as 5 times. My suggestion is that 2 weeks is more than enough. There are reasons for Long Term Master Cleansing such as Disease Cleansing, but that topic is far outside of the scope of this article.  What if I am Diabetic?  Use Low Glycymic Fruits! How to Achieve Your Cleansing Goals

“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.” - Henry Ford

One of the biggest challenges in meeting any goal, whether it be related to productivity, waking early, changing a habit, exercising, doing one of the many suggested G Cleanses, or just becoming happier, is finding the motivation to stick with it.

If you can stick with a goal for long enough, you’ll almost always get there eventually. It just takes patience, and motivation. Motivation is the key, but it’s not always easy, day in and day out, to find that motivation. What follows is a guide to motivation using what I’ve learned over the last few years in a series of successful accomplishments, goals and habit changes. I’ve had many failures, but also many successes and I’ve learned a lot from all of them. Motivation has been a particularly important topic of exploration for me and I think always will be.

What Motivation and Information Can Achieve

What have I accomplished using these motivation methods? Too much to mention, just in the last 3 years: running one half marathon, learning to become an early riser, living with less, losing 20 pounds, completing a triathlon, becoming flexitarian, becoming more productive, starting a successful practice, writing this e book, becoming organized, simplifying my life, and much more. That’s not intended to sound like bragging, but to show you what can be accomplished (just to start) if you find the right motivation.

How Does Motivation Work?

Before we get into specific methods, it’s useful to examine what motivation is, what it does, and how it works. Motivation is what drives you toward a goal, what keeps you going when things get tough, the reason you get up early to exercise or work late to finish a project. There are all kinds of motivations, of course, from positive to negative. Having a boss threaten to fire you is motivation — you’ll likely work harder to complete a project with that kind of pressure. But I find that positive motivation works better — if it’s something you really want to do, you’ll do a much better job than to avoid something you don’t want (such as being fired).

So motivation, in its best form, is a way for you to want to do something. There may be times, for example, when you don’t feel like getting up early, and in those times you may seriously just want to sleep in (not that there’s anything wrong with that). But if you have a reason to want to get up early, something you really really want to do, you’ll jump up out of bed with excitement. The best motivation, then, is a way for you to really want something, to get excited about it, to be passionate about it. Remember that, as there are many other types of motivation (especially negative), but in my experience, this is the kind that works the best.

There is only so long that you can go trying to motivate yourself to do something you don’t like to do, something you don’t want to do. But if you find ways to really want to do something, you can sustain your effort for much, much longer.

8 Ways to Motivate Yourself From the Beginning

I’ve found that it’s important to start out with the right motivation and hopefully I have built a pretty good case here for you to start a practice of cleansing. Because a good start can build momentum that you can sustain for a long time. If you start out right, you have a much better chance of succeeding and sticking with your chosen cleanse, the daily G practices, staying young activities and other components that I have presented here in the Gratitude Cleanse.

Here are some tips for starting out:

1. Start small. I Maybe it's just 1 day of G cleansing for you at first. I’ve said this before, but that’s because it’s one of the most important tips in motivating yourself toward a goal. Don’t start out big! Start out with a ridiculously easy goal, and then grow from there. If you want to exercise, for example, you may be thinking that you have to do these intense workouts 5 days a week. No — instead, do small, tiny, baby steps. Just do 2 minutes of exercise. I know, that sounds wimpy. But it works. Commit to 2 minutes of exercise for one week. You may want to do more, but just stick to 2 minutes. It’s so easy, you can’t fail. Do it at the same time, every day. Just some crunches, 2 pushups, and some jogging in place. Once you’ve done 2 minutes a day for a week, increase it to 5, and stick with that for a week. In a month, you’ll be doing 15-20. Want to wake up early? Don’t think about waking at 5 a.m. Instead, think about waking 10 minutes earlier for a week. That’s all. Once you’ve done that, wake 10 minutes earlier than that. Baby steps.

This formula works when it is applied to your practice of doing a
G Cleanse or anything else in life.

2. One goal. Too many people start with too many goals at once, and try to do too much. And it saps energy and motivation. It’s probably the most common mistake that people make. You cannot maintain energy and focus (the two most important things in accomplishing a goal) if you are trying to do two or more goals at once. It’s not possible
— I’ve tried it many times. You have to choose one goal, for now, and focus on it completely. I know, that’s hard. Still, I speak from experience. You can always do your other goals when you’ve accomplished your One Goal.

3. Examine your motivation. Know your reasons. Give them some thought … and write them down. If you have loved ones, and you are doing it for them, that is more powerful than just doing it for self-interest. Doing it for yourself is good too, but you should do it for something that you REALLY, REALLY want to happen, for really good reasons.

4. Really, really want it. This is essentially the same as the above tip, but I want to emphasize it: it’s not enough to think it would be cool to achieve something. It has to be something you’re passionate about, something you’re super excited about, something you want deeply. Make sure that your goal of cleansing meets these criteria, or you
won’t stick with it for long.

5. Commit publicly. None of us likes to look bad in front of others. We will go the extra mile to do something we’ve said publicly. For example, when I wanted to do my first triathlon in Carlsbad, California back in 1997, I started telling everyone at a bi monthly event I was singing at (Friday Night Live) that I was going to do it, and that I was scared
of swimming in the ocean. I had watched to many Jaws movies. The entire church of knew about my goal. I couldn’t back down, and even though my motivation came and went, I stuck with it and completed it. Now, you don’t have to commit to your goal in front of the whole congregation, but you can do it with friends and family and co-workers, and
you can do it on your blog if you have one.

And hold yourself accountable — don’t just commit once, but commit to giving progress updates to everyone every week or so. To see a sample of a video blog, just go to You tube and type in the words “master cleanse”, plan on spending some time watching the many “cleansers” tell you their stories of woe and transformation! But NOT ONE OF THEM will tell you about their GRATITUDE experiences or doing their staying young activities during thier practice so why don't YOU be the first to do a G Cleanse Video! And of course there is FACEBOOK for you as well, invite some friends, do the G Cleanse as a community.

6. Get excited. Well, it starts with inspiration from others (see above), but you have to take that excitement and build on it. For me, I’ve learned that by talking to my close friends about it, and to others, and reading as much about it as possible, and visualizing what it would be like to be successful (seeing the benefits of the goal, like writing this book, in my head), I get excited about a goal. Once I’ve done that, it’s just a matter of carrying
that energy forward and keeping it going.

7. Build anticipation. This will sound hard, and many people will skip this tip. But it really works. It helped me finish this book after many failed attempts at writing it over the past two years. If you find inspiration and want to do a goal, don’t start right away. Many of us will get excited and want to start today. That’s a mistake. Set a date in the future — a week or two, or even a month — and make that your Start Date. Mark it on the calendar. Get excited about that date. Make it the most important date in your life. In the meantime, start writing out a plan. And do some of the steps below. Because by  delaying your start, you are building anticipation, and increasing your focus and energy
for your goal.

8. Print it out, post it up. Print out your goal in big words and post it on Facebook. Make your goal just a few words long, like a mantra (”Exercise 15 mins. Daily”),  (" I Have All I Need Inside of Me to Complete a Gratitude Cleans") and post it up on your wall or refrigerator. Post it at home and work. Put it on your computer desktop. You want to have big reminders about your goal, to keep your focus and keep your excitement going. A picture of your goal (like a model with sexy abs, for example) also helps.

Now go out and Enjoy taking your shower from the inside experience,

People will notice,  and you will notice, and then you will become the silent teacher to those around you of a changed  life and mindset.

What About Exeercise or Movement While Cleansing?

Going Into Your Workouts in a Fasted State. Your body is in either a “fed” or “fasted” state. When your body is in a fed state it primarily uses carb-energy for fuel. It is the body’s preferred method of energy. When your body is in a fasted state it releases HGH. This hormone helps release body fat from stored fat cells into the bloodstream so you can use that for energy instead of stored “food energy”. Intense exercise also raises HGH levels. When you combine exercise with this fasted state, you create a great synergistic condition for fat loss. It works extremely well. Obviously you can’t overdue this and fast for way too long or exercise too hard, but done strategically this works wonders.

Go Go Super Green Smoothie

Alternate Tastey Recipe for You! Put Ingredients into a Vita-Mix or Similar in the following order:

2 Cups of Green or Red Grapes
One whole large Banana
1 Orange
Half or even a whole Organic Apple
2 big hand fulls of Spinach
1 tiny tiny piece of ginger
1 tiny slice of lime with skin
1 teaspoon & Chia Seeds What is a Chia Seed?
2 cups of Ice
